I was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. After I graduated high school, I started working for the Clerk of Courts. This is where my love for the law and my desire to help individuals who were going through legal battles began. I completed my degree at Pensacola State College then transferred to Florida State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and a Minor in Family and Child Sciences.
I attended Law School at Samford University, Cumberland School of Law located in Birmingham, Alabama, where I was honored to serve and compete as a member of the prestigious trial team. In addition, I attended Florida State College of Law for a summer semester where I had the privilege of participating in the Family & Gender Justice Clinic, where our primary focus was assisting women with services upon being released from incarceration. During my time in law school, I had the opportunity to intern at various law firms in different fields of law.
I started my legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Leon County, where I was dedicated to seeking justice for victims.
I am an avid animal lover. I serve on the board of a non-profit, 4 Steps Horse Rescue, where our main mission is to rescue and rehabilitate unwanted, abandoned, and mistreated equines.
