Craig Richards was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He began his legal career practicing in the areas of insurance defense, employment and commercial litigation, auto accident defense, premises liability defense and education law. He represented and advised large corporations on a variety of tort and employment law related matters. He has litigated in Florida, Federal and State Courts, the EEOC and Florida Commission on Human Relations.
Prior to law school, Craig earned his Bachelor of Science and Arts degrees triple majoring in International Relations, Political Science and Economics from Florida State University, where he was the Senior Vice President, a member of the Florida State Seminoles Football and Lacrosse Team. After attending the Mississippi College of Law, he worked for several years with an insurance defense firm in Tallahassee, Florida before switching sides to fight for the individuals that need it most.
Craig is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. He is a member of American Bar Association, Florida Bar, the Capital City Justice Association, and the Tallahassee Bar Association, where he serves on the Board of Directors.
