Committed legal leader to help shape Tallahassee’s bipartisan political forum
TALLAHASSEE, FL, July 2025 — The Capital City Tiger Bay Club announced that attorney Dana Brooks of Fasig Brooks Law Offices has been elected to its Board of Directors. The Board voted in their most recent meeting and Brooks has formally accepted.
Founded in 1971, the Capital City Tiger Bay Club is recognized as Tallahassee’s premier non‑partisan political forum, hosting monthly luncheons featuring newsmakers and opinion leaders from across the political spectrum (www.capitaltigerbayclub.org). With a reputation for sharp introductions, spirited debate, and a respectful yet candid atmosphere, Tiger Bay draws local and state elected officials, candidates, and policy experts.
Dana Brooks brings a distinguished record of legal, civic, and political engagement. A magna cum laude graduate of FSU College of Law (2007), Brooks made partner at her firm on the same day she was sworn in. She is a past president of the Capital City Justice Association, a founding member of the Society of Women Trial Lawyers, a former Trustee of the Florida Democratic Party, and a Charter Member of the Democratic Women’s Club of Leon County. Brooks also actively supports numerous nonprofit causes in North Florida, including Oasis Center for Women and Girls, Girls on the Run, Ladies Learning to Lead (L3), 2‑1‑1 Big Bend, and Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
Brooks noted, “I’m honored to join such a storied organization that champions open discourse without partisan bias. Tiger Bay’s forums are crucial for connecting elected officials and the public, and I look forward to contributing to that mission.”
In her role on the Board, Brooks will help set agendas for future luncheons, assist in securing speakers, and support efforts to expand community participation in the Club’s gatherings.
