It’s already been a big year for us here at Fasig Brooks. Below are some of the highlights from 2019 so far!
We took a stroll with Dana Brooks through the Fasig Brooks office and asked a few questions about her life, work, and some of her favorite things. Watch the entire video here.
Thank you, Tallahassee! For eight years in a row, you’ve voted for Fasig Brooks as “Best Law Practice” in the CCYS Tally Awards, and we’re grateful beyond words.
MEET OUR PARALEGALS:
KESHA GORDON
Kesha grew up in Thomasville, Georgia. She attended Valdosta State University, graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice. She earned her Master’s in Criminal Justice as well. Later, she returned to school for a paralegal studies degree, and has worked as a paralegal for fifteen years.
Kesha has been at Fasig Brooks for a year and says her favorite part of her job is the relationship she builds with her clients. She’s proud, she says, of being able to really help people. The most challenging part is separating work from her personal life; when clients become family it is hard not to bring their difficulties home with you.
When Kesha was asked about why she choose Fasig Brooks she said, “When the opportunity to come here arose, I knew it was a good decision because it was all about the clients. Jimmy and Dana’s passion really sold me.” Kesha describes Fasig Brooks’ culture as compassion with passion.
When she isn’t at work, Kesha can usually be found reading a good book. She savors and appreciates time with loved ones: her daughter battled brain cancer for six years and through that journey Kesha learned the importance of time. We’re happy to say that Kesha’s daughter is now cancer free and off at college!
