Q: How long have you been at Fasig Brooks?
Ashley: “1 year 6 months, this time around, but was an OG at Eubanks and Barrett 25+ years ago.”
Q: Describe your role at Fasig Brooks.
Ashley: “Chaos Coordinator… I support the attorney in building, proving, and resolving the case through drafting pleadings, preparing discovery requests and responses, assisting with motions, organizing the evidence, such as bills, accident reports, insurance documentation, photos, and witness information, which help prove the claim. I review and summarize records, prepare chronologies, calculate damages by organizing medical expenses, lost wages, and future care needs. I coordinate depositions, mediations and hearings and ensure compliance with procedural rules while keeping the case on track toward trial or settlement. As trial approaches on a case, I help make sure my attorney is fully prepared and supported by organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating witnesses.”
Q: What inspired you to join the team here?
Ashley: “What drew me to this firm is its focus on helping people who are going through one of the most challenging times in their lives. Fasig Brooks strives to make sure every client feels heard and supported while also building a strong case behind the scenes. At Fasig Brooks we are a family. We are not only here for our clients but for one another.”
Q: What’s the most meaningful part of working at Fasig Brooks?
Ashley: “Being a part of something bigger than just a case. It’s helping someone navigate a stressful situation and knowing my role plays a part in getting them some form of comfort, relief, or closure.”
Q: If each day had 25 hours, what would you do with the extra time?
Ashley: “Spend it with my family and loved ones.”
Q: What keeps you going when you are under pressure?
Ashley: “Honestly, it is the client. When things get busy or deadlines start to stack up, I remind myself that someone is depending on this case moving forward. That helps me stay focused.”
Q: What is something about Fasig Brooks you wish more people knew about?
Ashley: “We truly mean what we say, we strive to be fierce advocates for our clients and that once you are a client or employee, you are and will always be part of the Fasig Brooks family.”
Q: What’s your dream car?
Ashley: “Toyota 4-Runner.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Ashley: “Italy, it is my favorite place to travel abroad for its rich history, culture, and scenery.”
Q: What’s your favorite activity outside of work?
Ashley: “Traveling, exploring new places, spending time with family and shopping.”
Q: What’s your favorite place to visit?
Ashley: “In the states, New York City; abroad, Italy.”
Q: What’s the most frequently asked question you get from clients and how do you answer?
Ashley: “Most of my clients have never been in this kind of situation or in the litigation process. As such, I frequently get asked about what to expect and I guide them through the process of filing the complaint through the resolution of their claim.”
